  Solef solvay 2042 Latex is an aqueous stabilized dispersion that contains approximately 25% by weight of a high molecular weight chemically modified PVDF copolymer (polyvinylidene fluoride) of medium crystallinity, that gives high adhesion to ceramics and separators in combination with low swelling, ideal for its usage in lithium batteries.
  
  Solef solvay 2042 Latex is useful for applications such as water-based impregnation of separators in Li-Ion batteries and energy storage devices.
  
  The main properties of Solef® 2042 Latex are:

• Good adhesion to separator and to ceramics

• Low swelling in electrolyte

• Good wettability by electrolyte
