PRODUCT DESCRIPTION 

• Amodel Supreme AS-9950 HS is a 50% glass-fiber-reinforced, heat-stabilized polyphthalamide (PPA) with the highest thermomechanical performance of any PPA on the market. The Amodel AS family is specially formulated for structural applications and thick-walled parts (>3 mm), featuring a higher weldline strength than standard Amodel PPA products. Excellent creep resistance and low moisture absorption are also characteristic of this resin. Very high mechanical performance at elevated temperatures, high heat deflection temperature, excellent hydrolytic stability, glycol resistance, and chemical resistance make this material an ideal candidate for metal replacement spanning automotive, aerospace, consumer, and industrial applications.
