VESTAMID DX9180 BK is a conductive, low extractable impact-modified resin based on polyamid 612 that is used as innermost laying in antistatic, low extractable multilayer tubes like EVONIK MLT 4840.1.

VESTAMID DX9180 BK offers outstanding properties concerning a low content of extractables particularly in contact with alcohol containing fuels, high impact resistance and improved long-term stability.

Multilayer tubing manufactured with conductive VESTAMID DX9180 BK as the innermost layer outperform the requirements of the American automotive producers to avoid electrostatic discharge (ESD) problems generated by fuel flow.

VESTAMID DX9180 BK absorbs only littler water resulting in good dimensional stability and almost unchanged properties at varying ambient humidity.
